Kandy Radzinski is an award winning artist and illustrator. She earned her Master’s degree at East Texas State University in art and taught Serigraphy, Lithography, Intaglio, and Drawing at Central Washington State College and The University of Tulsa, Oklahoma where she now resides. She has authored and illustrated several children’s books and among her awards are five Best Illustrated Children’s Books in Oklahoma. She loves to do school visits because she loves to talk about herself.
The method she employs in her watercolor is dry brush, where very little water is used and all are done on archival paper. Each piece takes between one or two weeks to a month depending upon the size and if she decides to vacuum the house, do laundry, cook or read a book while eating chocolate, lots and lots of chocolate. She is also a Fifth Degree Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do.
It is what it is, bla, bla, bla, bla, bla. When you think about it, what makes ART so mysterious that whoever is selling it finds it necessary that the image has to be described with WORDS as if the viewer is blind as a bat and or lacking sufficient brain power?
If one has a deficiency in the above, I’ll ‘splain it.
Love animals, am obsessed with details and love making serious art look just a little silly and hopefully make you at least smile.
